Red Warriors is a Panzer Grenadier scenario supplement. It revisits the Operation Mars campaign, which we first dealt with in Heroes of the Soviet Union and Tank Battles (both now out of print). At the time those products were published the Panzer Grenadier system was young, and relatively few system boards and pieces existed. But now there are a dozen different Panzer Grenadier products on the market, with enough boards to cover the biggest game tables plus pieces to fill them all. So, it's time to go back and give one of the Soviet Union's grandest offensives the full-scale Panzer Grenadier treatment it deserves. In addition, the recent publication of our game Red God of War: The Soviet Operation Mars, 1942 game players a much broader overview of that doomed Soviet offensive. Red Warriors allows players to "zoom-in" on critical sectors of the Red God of War game board and fight brigade- and regiment-level actions on the tactical level. We've added notes to the scenario indicating where on the Red God of War map the scenario takes place. This will help players understand the importance of the scenario to the overall campaign. |

Might want to add here that the game turn length is completely variable, an event on the map triggers a change of orders to withdraw from the battlefield (fairly common in earlier PG random event tables) and the game ends when the last Soviet unit exits the map. (larry marak

|
Scen 20 |
Soviets only get VPs for exiting RKKA units from the 81st Tank Army (the units that set up at the southern end of the map.) (Shad

Strongpoints are affected by the terrain in their hex just like any other unit.
Even though they can't move, they can attack using Assault Combat if an enemy unit moves into their hex.
They may not dig in or benefit from entrenchments.
