Introduction |
---|
After smashing their way through the American 14th Armored Division, the remnants of the Soviet 18th Mechanized Division gathered on a hilltop to await reinforcements and the expected counterattack. They were not disappointed on either count. |
Conclusion |
---|
The 18th Mechanized Division has to switch form offense to defense, but they can't afford to sit back and let the Americans come to them. They will have to maneuver to put sufficient firepower on the American tanks to kill them, then fall back before the same happens to them. If the Americans are allowed to just chew up the forces on the hill systematically and block to hinder the Soviet reinforcements, they will be able to claim King of the Hill. |

The M18 has a special rule in Battle of the Bulge but it applies globally: "A two-step M18 unit can fire one anti-tank shot and move half its movement allowance (retain fractions) in a single impulse. The order in which it does these two actions is the player's choice." (Shad
