Three years after the United States and the Soviet Union jointly vanquished the Nazi terror, the two former allies began a four-decade-long "Cold War." While it never ignited into a Third World War, both sides armed for it, trained for it, and planned for it. Iron Curtain is a Panzer Grenadier module that explores the use of the huge tanks and other weapons prepared for this war that never happened. Iron Curtain differs from our other Panzer Grenadier games and supplements, as it covers battles that never happened. Our other games contain scenarios based on actual events, carefully researched to be as accurate as possible within the format of a game. These instead are "typical action" scenarios covering the soft of battle that might have taken place, but we do not list actual locations for them outside a few broad parameters. We did try to present many different types of battles, while still giving players plenty of opportunity to use the huge tanks included in this module. |
