Cassino '44 #32 - Campaign Two: The Fourth Battle of Cassino | ||||||||||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
This campaign took a bit longer to finish, there are more units, especially on the Allied side, playing solo doubled the amount of record or bookkeeping but the campaign rules are well thought out and easy to follow. Typically, the Allies attacked during the day to take advantage of their OBA and air support while the Germans would counterattack at night for the same but opposite reasons, to negate the Allies superiority. Good use of your command points is critical to a successful offensive, the Germans are outnumbered but are strong on the defense with the terrain on their side. Good campaign for multi-player. |
