Password Reset

Resetting your password is a simple process, but it's also a potential security risk. We certainly don't want strangers running around resetting passwords willy-nilly. As such, Panzer Grenadier Headquarters employs the following time-tested approach to password resets:

1. Enter the username whose password you have forgotten and the email address associated with that account in our database. Click Send me the Reset Token.
2. Assuming those details match, that email address will be given a reset token. This is a unique, one-time-use code that will allow you to reset your password. It expires after 24 hours. Note that your password has not yet been reset.
3. The email contains a link back to PG-HQ that gives us your token which is checked for validity. If your token is valid (not fake, not expired), you will be prompted to set a new password for your account.

If you request a password reset token and the email never arrives, perhaps because it was ambushed by a spam filter and failed its rally attempt, you must email the Site Admin from the account matching your username to receive the token manually.
