Aryan Retreat | ||||||||||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Setup: Both the Germans and the Soviets setup as close to the west edge of the board so they can scramble to their respective defense positions. Play: The Germans gain initiative on the first turn and rush towards Board 8 , an entire map over, to setup a defense line, but the Soviets of course quickly follow and chase the Germans. On turn 10, the Germans have reach their line and begun to dig-in, but are rudely interrupted by the Soviets attack. The Germans cannot help but slow lose as both they are outnumbered and the Soviets have a greater morale, and thus assault combat favors the Soviets. The Soviets quickly reach the ten steps needed to win, and decide to retreat, leaving the battered Germans to recover and setup a defensive line. Result: Soviet Victory. |
