Formation Notes

Philippine guerrillas in WWII were a massive, decentralized resistance movement of over 260,000 fighters who controlled most of the archipelago by 1945. Opposing Japanese occupation, they provided vital intelligence, conducted hit-and-run attacks, and liberated towns before Allied forces returned, significantly weakening Japanese control.
