Lineage notes: When Slovakia assisted in the invasion of Poland there was a 2nd Division in that force. When Slavakia joined the invasion of the Soviet Union there again was a 2nd Division. With the reorganization of August 29th, the 2nd Division gave most of its transport to help form the Mobile Division. After that the 2nd Division became the Security Division, later the 2nd Tactical Division. The dates for the redesignations of the 2nd Division, especially in the case of the Technical Division, are somewhat speculative. |
