Formation Notes

Lineage Notes: At he end of the Hungarian War the Mikhalovce Group was disbanded, but it formed the concept for the Mobile "Kalinciak" Brigade under Lt Colonel Imra. During the invasion of the Soviet Union, the Mobile Group was resurrected under Colonel Pilfousek. It isn't a real brigade, but rather a collection of the mobile elements of the Slovakian Expeditionary force sent to the Eastern Front. As it was used as the nucleolus of the Mobile Division, I made it subsidiary to the 1st division to create a campaign continuity.
