Rommel Crossed | ||||||||||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
The French tried to hold the line on the river. They realized without any tank/AT support, the Germans had a substantial advantage if they got across. The Germans pushed their crossing at the footbridge. The French didn’t stop the crossing, but they held up well at first. They got the better of the Germans in the initial assaults, but the Germans recovered and carved out a bridgehead. They took the high ground at the sound end of the map and rolled up the French from there. Without armor or ATGs, the French have a very hard time. |
