The Germans have the advantage of position, with engineers already on the bridge. The Finns have the advantage of more maneuverable and powerful infantry. The Finns pushed up the center and around the woods, avoiding the infantry/hmg platoons in the woods. At the end of turn 5 however, the engineers blew the bridge. The Finns, not leave without some manner of revenge, fell upon the, by comparison, hapless SS troops. The Finns took a couple of step losses, but chewed the German to pieces in assault, gaining a draw. Mortars and OBA were of little effect. |
