The Germans got off to a terrible start as the Paras AT gun took out a number of 251s with MGs loaded. The Germans tried to double envelop the fortified hilltop in front of the town but failed to fight off British counterattacks. Every few turns it looked like they might corral enough troops to push on to the town but kept falling apart. The Paras suffered but not enough to earn the Germans any level of victory. Major British victory.
