A Straightforward Attack |

Setup: The setup is simple. The Soviets remain in the town and the Germans plan to outflank the Soviet defenders in the town. Play: The Germans approach from the north and take some heavy losses in getting close to the Soviets in the town. Nevertheless, the German begin to fire at the Soviets from 400 meters, but the direct fire does little damage. The German decide to risk the assault and move in for the kill. The assaults go well for the Soviets, forcing the Germans out. The Germans quickly regroup, however, and push their way back into the town. After some serious fighting in the outskirts of the town, the Germans push the Soviet troops back, and from then on the Germans' higher morale begin to really help and the Soviets crumble under the weight of the German attack, and on the last turn, the Germans capture the town. Result: German Victory. |
