The Romanians setup along the river bank, with the anti-tank guns in the front. The Romanian gunboat enters on the south edge and begins firing at the Romanian anti-tank guns. The direct fire is normally ineffective, but the Romanians eventually lose a step due to compound demoralization. The Romanians finally get lucky with their anti-tank fire and the game ends with the gunboat sinking to the bottom of the river.
