This play was to teach the game and to test playing by email using VASSAL. It took 81 files to playthrough the game yet showed it could be done. MLaPanzer and I had played PG together FtF way back when it was just arriving on the wargame scene but due to distance we drifted to other systems so we could play using VASSAL as there was not a PG VASSAL module for a long time. Now we are able to play via VASSAL.

My opponent wisely set up a defense in depth which slowed and disrupted the advance. However it came down to a final assault on the town and the one remaining disrupted commie HMG unit passed a M2 after a successful 1 step loss result on the assault. Down to the wire and the final die roll it went, just as it should.
