The Germans set up a very tough defensive line to the West of the North/South road which held until turn 7 and this line cost the Americans a lot of Armor. The South part of the German line began to crumble on turn 7 and the Americans began to push the Germans back. The American reinforcements came in on turn 11 and had enough men and material to set up a double envelopment well the flanks of the main German position thereby keeping the German strength pinned down in the areas originally deployed in rather than allowing them to pull from one side to feed to the other flank. The South flank broke completely on turn 14, after that it was just a mop up for the Americans. Game was called on turn 20.
