Soviets put up a good fight and might have won or at least got a draw if it weren't for the German reinforcements coming on the map on the first try (die roll), this gave the Germans the needed boost in infantry and armor, especially the Panthers that helped to eliminate more Soviet steps and take a few more hexes of Lukhanino.
