Good scenario, initially pitting elements of a German Panzer division against a Soviet Rifle Division, the Germans have a MC Battalion supported by a mixed panzer and a flak battalions. The Soviets are primarily an infantry force supported by a company of T60 tanks spread out over three maps. Both sides have the opportunity for reinforcements on turn 7, the Soviets can get elements of a tank division while the Germans are a motorized infantry battalion supported by a panzer company of 38ts. The Germans were able to concentrate on each Soviet defensive line, defeated the Soviet armor counterattack using the Pz38t company support by the 88's. Maneuver was key for the Germans early on while the Motorized Infantry battalion cleared the woods on map 6 of Soviet infantry, they had help from the Luftwaffe's FAC. |
