Why do you train intensively on gunnery? Because killing enemy tanks wins battles. And that is what happened here. This game lasted eight turns because the Soviet tank gunnery was spot on. Bothe sides rushed down the road then spread out just before contact. The Romanians sent a force to the east to get behind the T-34s that rushed right at the Romanian column. Then they tried to send everyone else around the west flank while trying to get in position to knock the T-34s with flanking fire. But the Soviet gunners were on fire, methodically taking out the Romanian tanks. Two tank platoons did slip through to exit but the rest were slaughtered for a quick Soviet win. The Romanian air force sent in many sorites, but they were ineffective.
