The third time I've played this one, and it still retains it's fascination. This time I was the Germans v Bangla's French, this game took us several months to play so this will not be a detailed AAR. As my worthy opponent and I discussed this is really campaign game in a single scenario. The game has three distinct phrases, the initial phase has the German breakthru the minor river and small villages, the next phase has the German pursuit of the French units towards the Meuse the final phase has the German attempt to cross and the final desperate attempts of the French to stop the German juggernaut. In our game the German forces failed to get across the Meuse, but inflicted enough casualties to gain a minor win. This is a must play scenario, and with VASSAL is a playable scenario.
