After seeing the set up of the defensive line, the German Commander decided to take his losses early and go for a breakthrough through the town. All went well, the town was well in hand and the German Commander was feeding his troops, after the initial assault(s) on the town, "en echlon" down the line. It worked out very well EXCEPT for one #5^&*($@! group at the bottom of the town who would absolutely not "go down" despite overwhelming odds! This group held on for two more hours until finally beaten down. After that it was a shoe in for a "triple crown" and the win.
