The Japanese begin the scenario defeated due to the VPs awarded for the town which is under American control at the outset. They are then forced to slog through muskeg up to the gates and hope they don't take too many casualties. This time I deployed my forces better and while Peter's pressure pushed the Americans to the limit, they didn't break and I squeaked out a minor victory by the thinnest of VP margins. Another 5 turns and he'd have won for sure. |
