One more grind through the same territory, with the same force compositions. This time its all USA instead of USMC mixed in. Plenty of time to be patient and grind out the last Japanese positions. Which is what happens. Japanese have a lofty kill count to achieve for the amount of men they have, so they try to densely set up in the south so they have a board edge protecting the southern approaches. The concentration, they hope, will allow them to op fire for a chances at x's and then counterassault. OBA for the Americans rolls well enough to soften them up before they can do much damage though. Not much else to say that hasnt been said in the dozens of nearly identical scenarios preceding this. |
