This is just a shooting gallery for the Americans. They get 2 formations, an army line that cannot move, only fire. They start adjacent to the already used up Japanese. They also get a Marine manuever force that must keep the net closed to stop the Japanese from slipping out, and then force the total board wipe.

Its not all that challenging. The Japanese set up is essentially scripted, and with the depleted forces they cant muster much of anything. Americans just shoot and shoot and shoot some more until they run out of adjacent stacks, and then move up Marines rinse and repeat.

No chance for the Japanese to do anything unless the American player makes a major mistake and breaks their own net allowing the Japanese to scurry about. Even then, the constricted map space makes their escape unlikely.

Easy American win after throwing dice for a few turns.
