Liberation 1944, scenario #41: Viessoix

A good Year’s Eve scenario between football games. Three maps, and interesting mix force forces for both sides but the British have about twice as many. The Germans have to defend a huge amount of area. The Victory conditions, besides eliminated units are also hill control, town control and a crossroads control. The Germans do have some minefields but not enough and the British have some Engineer Infantry and a Crab unit to help counter these.

The German armor is deadly against the Sherman tanks but there are too many of them for them to handle. The British air-force also shows up and in the end the Germans have a five more points for eliminated enemy units but thirteen less in victory objectives for a narrow eight difference for a Minor British Victory.
