Parachutes Over Crete: scenario #27: Saxophones of Fury

First let me state, there is a little setup errata. The Germans setup first so the second group of New Zealand forces should also say setup second and for the xx09 doesn’t make sense or they could setup with the Germans, so I left them setup within 2 hexes of the Germans.

A cleaver scenario with the scenario special rules giving the New Zealanders that special modifier in assaults and making them assault as well. Turned into a very bloody assault battle. The New Zealand forces barely achieve a minor victory controlling five town hexes with the other three contested for German forces. The Losses were high, as the New Zealand force lost 9 steps and a leader while the Germans lost 6 steps and 3 leaders.
