The Poles set up dispersed and tried to hold too much territory, as a result they were defeated in detail, yet their tenacity caused enough losses that the Germans could only make this one a minor victory. The Poles should cede some territory and probably some victory objectives in order to give them sufficient strength to cause real damage when the Wehrmacht comes knocking. When initial lines started to buckle there simply were no reserves and the walls came crashing down. |
