Scenario Guad007

So all the US Marines needed to do is drive the lowly Imperial Service Units out of and away from the village, and establish a defense capable of hodling off 20 or so combat factors when the reinforcements come in the form of SNL Inf (all at full strength.) Obviously, neither side read the script, because having two of the landing craft with a marine squad each to land a few hexes north of the village, and cut off the only easy escape route, the asaulting Marine and HMG units south of the village had an easy go of dislodging the defenders, then chasing them down and eliminating them, due in no small part one would imagine, to no FOW rolls causing any actions. All this happened before turn 12, so when the reinforcements showed up at 11:30a, it was too late tp retake the village, and the US had pushed far enough forward, there was just too much jungle to trade for time, with little chance for the Japenese to eliminate any steps and force a draw.
