Liberation, Scenario Seventeen: Second Chance for the Desert Rats Note: (there are not enough British Bren & M3 counters for this scenario, so you will have to borrow two units from another game or just use two spotted mark to represent them). This scenario should have been called Michael Wittman’s Tiger Attack! The Germans got the initiative first on like five turns in a row, which spelled death to the British armor. I even ended this scenario early as at this point the Germans had 78 points to the British 20 points for a Major German Victory. Even if the British would have slipped in a few more Infantry steps on to map 56 it wouldn’t have made a difference. Maybe the British should have led with their Infantry but there is still not enough of them. The German armor can dug-in and even put a few of them on am upper elevation to get even more advantages. I liked the idea of this scenario but this one didn’t work out for me. Its probably a 2.5. |
