Scenario Saip001

I did not look at the map and made some assumptions on how the USMC wold land. There is a 75 or better gun that HAS to go in the center village hex in one of the entrenchments. Put at one end. The USMC invaded at the other end of the map. Got in a rush and did not think about my attacks.

For example 3 units and 3 amtracs (LT-4w) attacked and whiffed. I called bombardment on the stack as it was 3 high. The combat units unis in the hex should have fire at adjacent stack that assaulted later in the turn The stack USMC had a flamethrower for a +! DF shift and 3 units.

Always take a minute to figure what can do where. That stack with the amtracs another leader could have dropped the OBA, if the I botched the DF roll.

Due to the invasion being south and working north. I won barely. This was The USMC needed 20+ hexes in a row. They tried to get disrupted units back in the fight. Also went along the back edge to make an end run that did not get to the beach.

Personally the Marines need to invade at 1/3 and 2/3 of the map and work towards the middle. Brute force straight up the middle.
