The Americans set up on the southwest corner of Snakeshead Ridge while the Germans concentrated their forces near the Albureta Farm. The Germans then began a slow advance toward the American held ridge. By turn five they had drawn adjacent to the GI's and heavy fighting broke out. With three turns to go the Germans assaulted point 593 and over the next turn and a half it exchanged hands three times with bitter fighting. In the end both sides had units in the hex so it was a narrow American victory. This one could easily go either way and is quite a fun scenario.
