As published this untested, unbalanced, game is not a battle tha the Italian side has chance to win, no matter how much luck thet have with the dice. The Aussies are far too tough to budge off that miserable hill, and the Italian force is just too brittle and low morale to really have a chance. This scenario needs a rewrite, reconsideation of the darn surrender rule and better victory conditions. It was fun to play as a learning experience with a skilled mentor, so I give our play a 2, though it really deserves a 1. As is, it is better suited to play as a solitaire game. |
