The entire scenario was a study in a slow retreat under the cover of the Artillery, as advertised. Unfortunately, the Commonwealth forces were too spread out to be able to concentrate their fire and the Germans took advantage of that fact to slowly push the Aus/NZ forces back. This scenario would have been a 2, excepting for the interesting retreat under the umbrella of the Arty. (Note - This scenario is a good development for the defenders and can be played with two equal opponents.)
