For a first ever PG game the introductory scenario seemed appropriate. Misread the set-up first time, but, after that was sorted out by an answer to a PG-HQ query, the second play went smoothly. Lots of referring back to the rulebook, but the scenario runs you through all the main game activities, and I soon was moving, shooting and assaulting. The Soviets pushed the Romanians back from their main defensive line, and at the end of the scenario the survivors were huddled in the fallback position in the woods in the corner of the board. Minor victory to the Soviets.
