This was a rather boring, overlong (22 game turns) and just downright, tedious scenario to get through. ACav led the brave & rash Japanese in this losing effort, as the Chinese were just too numerous & tenacious on defense to lose. This was a nonplaytested and uneven scenario. Casualties were very high for both sides, and although the bridge did change hands twice, it was controlled by the battered, defending Chinese at the end, resulting in a costly victory for Chiang's 44th Infantry Division.

Please note the errata posted by Juiceman on this one. We used his recommendations by adding the engineers, selecting the river size, and the crossing number. Thanks for adding the Japanese engineers, Peter!

here were NINE, FOW-shortened game turns of the 22 we played. As usual, this substantially helped the defenders. Both sides lost most of their junior leaders, and also suffered decapitations at almost the same time -- during game turns 12 and 13. The final steps losses for the attacking Japanese was 37, and 21 for the Chinese side.
