Scenario BrAx037

This is an infantry battle with the Romanians on the attack, they have the larger force with plenty of supporting arms: HMGs, OBA, mortars and a couple of field gun batteries. The Soviets have the weaker force, not only in numbers but DF value. Morale for both sides is at 7/6, which plays into the Soviets favor since they are on the defensive.

With morale that low Leadership would be the key, both sides drew and flipped good leaders for the most part, with the Romanians benefiting the most throughout the battle. The Soviet first line of defense held and disrupted or demoralized about 25% of the Romanian Vanatori but the Romanians kept coming, slowly they eliminated one strong point after another and were onto the Soviet second line of defense which crumbled, with the Soviets falling back to the 60m hill for one last stand.
