Night rules were in affect for the first 5 turns with visibility down to one hex, which gave a slight advantage to the Serbs whose boats have an armor rating of 0 & 1, so a long range duel was not in their favor. Needless to say, the AH monitors weathered the storm of Serb OP Fire to blast the Serb monitors and gunboats. The Romanians entered the battle on time, but they too suffered from good AH gunnery.
