The short version: the Canadians destroyed a Soviet motor rifle regiment. With essentially no losses. I used the optional rule that adds a 1 hour advance guard period for a reinforced Soviet company. They were going to try to race to occupy one of their city objectives. But I also put the Canadian lynx armored cars in play as well, and a roll for turn of entry for the Canadians. They came on pretty early and wiped out the Soviet advance guard, mostly with tanks and airpower. Once the Soviet main body came on they were attempting to hold the eastern ridge line in strength but the Canadian Centurians just wiped out the T44s and T34s. The second mechanized battalion of the Soviets tried to find space to deploy in battle order and made a valiant attempt to force the Canadian left but the massive losses they had suffered all along the front made further attacks futile. Major Canadian victory, all objectives achieved.
