Introduction
|
The withdrawal of the 1st Battalion, 182nd Infantry along the coast compromised the upcoming offensive and the ground had to be retaken. With heavy artillery support the battalion attacked.

Conclusion
|
The 182nd Infantry retook its positions along the coast. Before the day was out the 164th entered the line as well in preparation for the resumption of the offensive on the 21st.
