I've to admit I'm a little bit confused when I try to figure what terrain is supposed to be in such hex.

Could someone help to find my way out of this maze ?

how to distinguish an amba hex from an hill hex ?


- Brown line across the map 88

what is this line that run from hex 0701 yo hex 0717 ? a wady ?


- Road and trail

Are there only trail or only roads on these maps ?


- Town & village

Are there only town hexs on these maps ? Or hex like 0515 on map 87 should be treated as a village hex ?
