I have another question. What is the current status of Modern Grenadier (the late 20th century version of PG)? I have heard rumors of it, but nothing definite.

This is a bit of a mystery. I had been part of a playtest for this last year and it was thought that this was moving along, but sense then, not much from APL and the developer has moved on to other stuff. I believe it is still slated for release sometime in the future. When, is the question, as always.

Send Mike an email, it never hurt to put these thoughts in is head!

Guys, if you have a design, run it by Mike and if he approves it, thinking it will sell, submit a design! Sometimes the only way to get things done, is just do it yourself!

I am still thinking about doing the Korean War, it just seems so large of a project, that I really need to think about the time commitment. I am about 30/70 right now on it!

Just think, all the UN contingents as well as the Chinese volunteers, NKA T-34/85s, recoiless rifles and immobile lines. Plus lots of artillery...

RE: Cold War PG! - JayTownsend - 03-24-2013

Yeah, it would have to be scaled down! Way too many countries involves, about 14 or so, as I remember.

I need to find a good book on the Korean War that covers details of Company, Battalion and Regiment units and so on, from the North Korean 1950 Invasion to the 1953 armistice?

I have just finished reading one book and found about 12 internet web-sites that will cover the above but it would be nice to have one book that do all that instead of 13 sources if anybody can recommend one?

Getting there, maybe I'll just do The Korean War after all? But it is so large, it might have to be multi products. Still thinking about it and researching but after reading more about it, it was the closet we ever came to WWIII. It has a lot of nationalities, maybe more than I can put into this mini series. It has a lot of late WWII model armor and vehicles on both sides with a little new materials as well but some of the battle situations and matchups are pretty interesting.

How interested are you guys in this?
