Considering the link they're using is "gameNorthFlank" it's safe to assume this is the other half of the mutant Kursk PG game.

Are original Kursk pre-orderers still getting this game for free?
Will this be laser-cut counters or die-cut?
Apart from geography, what significant differences are there between South Flank and Burning North Tiger Flank?
Why would a non-compulsive PG player want both?

Each question answered (or not...) in turn below.

First, this is North Flank and is to be sent to complete the preorders for Citadel.

Not sure about the counters.

South Flank was all SS troops. There will be no SS in North Flank. The units provided will almost certainly permit modelling some South Flank actions later (e.g. GD, etc.). The Germans will permit a much better OOB for 1943. I would expect this to open up some other areas for supplements.

I am really excited about getting Kursk: Burning Tigers or North Flank, as I really love the Kursk Subject and South Flank is an excellent module. It will be nice to have both and mix and match someday.

Counters will almost certainly be laser-cut.

As Matt W said, Burning Tigers (North Flank) will have Heer vs the Soviets. There will be at least some new units (Elefant for sure), and Soviets will have more lend-lease stuff. There will also be more maps.

There were some SS troops on the north flank and some Heer on the south flank, but including the all those counters in the boxed games would have been prohibitive. There are already plans for at least one scenario book using both Kursk games (and no other games) to build a complete picture of the Battle of Kursk.

LOL! Any adolescent can find better (un)cover(ed) art on the Internet in less than 10 seconds.

For what it is worth, I like the cover art on KBT. It's a reminder that many, many Soviet women died defending their country, and not just in a supporting role.

I only look at the cover of a game when I first get it after that I forget about, as you never see it on the bookshelf. I alway like what is on the backcover of a game box more than the frontcover.

Jay, I see you problem, you need to get the games off the shelf and on the table, then you can see the covers.

I do have to say that the cover art has been a big improvement for the games. Just like an old album the cover art was always as interesting as the songs.

What I want to know is which rock pieces will be scenario titles in Kursk part 2, and will the battlefield end up resembling the Dark Side of the Moon? We'll know more about that soon enough, as the map artist will begin creating the print version of maps as soon as he finishes Pusan Perimeter, which is currently getting finishing touches.
