Division Marocain
Here are a few pictures of the Division Marocain countersheet. The printing has come a long way with the laser-cut and these are about 1/2 as thick as the Burning Tigers counters.

Portion of the front showing ENG, ESC, HMG and 25mm guns.

Portion of the back of the ESC counters. It seems the "backline" is becoming a standard.

I think it has to. With the die cut counters you could tell the front from the back by the edging. The laser cut have identical edges so you need to designate the front and back.

Peter,

There are quite a few scenarios in FoF with Moroccans (I'm sure you know anyway having produced the mighty formations list). The Iron Line series in that book for example would be where they could be used (or are these later war Moroccans) ?

Probably the same thing I did with the Black SS - use them where I can - They didn't cost me anything other than the purchase price of Saipan and Burning Tigers. Unfortunately, I didn't have the financial ability to order all 4 games in order to get GD '43 or the other one I can't think of right now.

For some odd reason, I thought these were nationality-specific counters for Desert Rats but when quickly perusing the scenario books I found no mention of the Marocain division(s). Then looking at the countersheet, I noticed the "ESC" counters and then realized that the counters were meant for Fall of France. I looked there and there are about 5 scenarios that cover the various Marocain division (Called "Marocaine" in FoF) encounters.

Thanks, Matt - That must also be the origin of my "odd reason"... Wink

You can use them for DYO Vichy vs. Free French.
