SOI Delivery
It has been a bit quiet on the Sword of Israel delivery as of late. In checking the other forums there has not been much activity. Only seven showing owning on BBG and 18 posts on CSW, and Jay has been the only post of any sort of AAR. I know there has been some printing issues, but I was wondering has anyone else received their copy yet?

RE: SOI Delivery
Mike mentioned on one of the CSW forums (fora?) that SOI is being held up due to the need to "clean" the counters prior to shipping and that it might not be out in quantity before the GWAS Russo-Japanese War.

Yeah, I have those white counters as well. In ten years they will be worth millions! haha

Got blue Israelis but the wait seems to have been worth it. I'm riffling through the rule book and scenario book as my wandering attention permits...

RE: SOI Delivery
Finally got mine today, after waiting months for it to be bundled with Liberation. I must say at first glance I am sorely disappointed with the "Blue" Israeli counters. I give a lot of leeway to APL on their art, because, frankly, I think it gets the job done and the rules system, variety, and scenario glut makes up for it. But these were just plain UGLY and approaching illegible and violet and green instead of blue and brown. - Highly disappointed for such a high cost game. I wish they had stayed with white - I'd take scorch marks. The maps are pleasing though. Hope to try a scenario in a week or two.Angry

At least its seems APL has cracked the counter code with Liberation - highly pleased with their counter quality.
