Shad's website best in the World?
I really believe for a game series web-site, Shad's is the best in the world!

I appreciate the sentiment, but I actually voted against myself.

We may be pretty awesome within the limited realm that is board games, but I aim higher. Smile

Shad, don't vote against yourself! If there is a web-site, I would like to see it!

I have voted yes but I am hoping for some sort of mention in Shads's annual presentation.

At the risk of demoralizing all of my fans, here is my personal wish-list for PG-HQ:
  • photo gallery support both as general uploads and in AARs
  • campaign manager tools to handle the bookkeeping of all the various PG campaigns
  • support for user-defined campaigns
  • regular tournaments and an all-time ladder
  • an exhaustive library of player aids
  • more search options
  • about 10x more statistics, better presentation thereof (charts), and achievements
  • usability enhancements throughout the site (mostly as javascript)
  • a comprehensive guide for people completely new to PG that walks them through each aspect of the rules
  • 5000 members, not 500 Big Grin
  • support from the Publisher!!! Confused
That's off the top of my head. If I sat down for a bit I could certainly come up with more. Most of those are easily doable, it's just a manpower problem. In other words, you have the power of one man driving the site's development, and that makes for rather slow progress.

If I could clap my hands and all of those milestones were suddenly met... well, I'd probably start playing more PG!Rolleyes

No!! Infantry Attacks first!!
Then numbers of counter types in each game, then . . .
Big Grin

Seriously, Andrew, hope you get to play some, too.

The only reason I've gotten into PG is because of this site.
