When I was in the middle of the whole thing, last Summer, my computer crashed and burned and I was too sick to start over, so I called it a day. Sent the maps (such as they were) to Plloyd1010 and washed my hands of the effort. Frankly, it was for the best as I could go back to playing rather than designing. (It also taught me to "back up" EVERYTHING!)

Ah, bummer to hear this news.    Bet that was painful to have to go through.   Well, if we ever make any progress on our project on our end, we will upload stuff to PG-HQ somewhere (probably in the DIY threads somewhere).

Why not a group project on Market Garden. We have all the counters and ample maps. We have historians and geeks. We could build a module really easily on the VASSAL side and I know we have the talent to build the scenarios and story arc even.

Just a thought

RE: Today’s GC update!
Has anyone begun anything on Market-Garden? I agree with the idea of a group project. While we are at it, what about Operation Varsity and other airborne operations in the Pacific? I feel AP is missing the boat here as airborne operations are extremely interesting.  I did send the following to AP:

I am a HUGE fan of Airborne. I believe it deserves to be upgraded to a small playbook version. Has anyone begun anything on Market-Garden,  Operation Varsity and other airborne operations in the Pacific as well as British, Soviet, German and Italian (perhaps a bit on the SAS as a Golden Journal?  I know that many articles have been posted with alternate rules, scenarios and such.

I o started with a couple books and some maps that Don had sent me. Then things got busy. I started thinking about it a week ago again. So far it's just a loose framwork.
