Fall of Frence, French engineers
Hopefully the last question...

Have French engineers become 2-step units?

No, it wasn't... What is a VLM?
Do you think they might work better if the had a mount dismount option? (Like Ottavio had for his cavalry machine-guns.)

RE: Last Days of May, errata questions
French engineers : as far as I know, game pieces have not been modified. 1 step, thus.

VLM stands for « voiture légère de mitrailleuse ». The horse-MG platoon only existed in the cavalry divisions but not among the Spahis. The four voitures légères de mitrailleuse platoon (VLM) had 4 X MG, 46 men, 56 horses (and 2 spare AAMGs). The MGs were mounted on the cart and were fired directly from its deck.

There was no dismount option, really. But they should be fired at like wagons.

Then I conclude there is a typo in scenario 2.

So in effect, they are the same as HMG portee or the tczanka? Would it be subject to the +1 fire modifier for cavalry? Or perhaps as loaded wagons?

Scenario 2 is Ancient Walls isn't it ? I don't have any French ENG in my original version... Probably a typo.

VLM : See drawing included. It should be treated as a loaded wagon, I think.

Fall of France 2, scenario 15
Philippe, there is no leadership in the 1st German group. Dr. Mike says to move the CAPT from the 2nd group to the 1st. Does that work for you?

I would have thought adding a CAPT and LT to the 1st group would have been a better solution.

RE: Last Days of May, errata questions
Fall of France scenario 15 is the new version of « A quiet village ». I have only one batch of leaders for the whole German force : 1x Maj, 1x Cpt, 3 x Lt, 2 x Sgt. Any one leader among them may lead the German MTC within the first group.
However, if you apply 6.85 and if German MTC are considered recon units, they already have an inherent recon leader.

Déjà vu all over again
So what is a WT15? It looks like a 47mm APX portee to me. But with a higher DF.
Is it that Belgian thing? Should it be tracked? 1 or 2 steps?

PS: I think I found it. What can I say but, really?
