Chosin Reservoir

What wicked this way comes?
Jay, what new toys will the North Koreans get in the future? I understand the got the Sherman Emcha, a M4A3E8 from Soviet lend-lease stocks (probably from the 25th Army). The U.S. Far East Command said they had T-70's. They also seem to have gotten Katyushas, 57mm AT guns and 85mm AA guns. I'm asking because I always put extra toys in my Vassal extensions and these seem likely.

RE: Chosin Reservoir
Chosin Reservoir mostly adds Chinese units, some British Commandos and a few odds and ends of American/ROK/NKPA counters needed to fill a void or two. But sorry Peter, no new North Korean units in this one and AP is pretty slow releasing these things.

They will have to catchup Releasing this and my other four submitted games/supplements before I work on anymore.

Fall of the Philippines 1941-42

Death of the 2nd Tank Division, Luzon 1945

Smoking Cobras, The Brazilian Expeditionary Force 1944-45

Ochi, The Greek - Italian War 1940-41.

Think Mike has package and renamed a couple of them.

Oh man, I recall you mentioning that Philippines package years ago. How long have they been sitting on it now?

I don't really expect APL to add any, or some, of the additional pieces I put in the OOB extensions. Just for giggles, here is what I intend to add to the NKPA OOB:
    37mm Antiaircraft Gun
    85mm Antiaircraft Gun
    Sherman Emcha
    T-70
    57mm Anti-tank Gun
    BM13 Katyusha Rocket Launcher
I thought about adding the the 100mm BS-3 field gun to the mix, same gun on the SU-100/101. Then I thought there are not very many of those, and are probably dug in around Pyongyang. Since Chosin is adding NKPA counters, are they getting some new toys? Any hints on what the PVA is going to look like?

What are the counters going to look like? I had no luck in tracking down the 2nd Tank's emblem

I made an OOB-Ldr extension for these guys. You should critique it. (All Vassal modules and extension are just compressed files, like zip files.)

I have the Greek Army expanded in my OOB-Ldr extension for them too.

Peter, I wasn't able to open your files. It appears that I haven't updated or paid for certain software.

Most of the new counters for this game will be CCP and some British Commandos and extra US Marines, Army and a ROK counter and a NKPA counter. The other counters needed will draw from the Counter-Attack game.

RE: Chosin Reservoir
Jay, change the extension from vmdx to zip. Then Windows can open it in Explorer. For a wider and fiddly solution, try 7-zip. It opens just about any compressed file.

Peter, Explorer was a no go, and my PDF says it expired and I need to purchase a new version.
