errors in modules
Thanks for all of the hard work and maintenance, looking forward to Infantry Attacks and Modern as well.

Meanwhile I am still getting the following error messages when it loads
Extension Id for Order_of_Battle--Italian_Army_1942-43.vmdx (oobITre1940) conflicts with previously loaded extension C:\Vassal\Panzer Grenadier\Core_Data--Panzer_Grenadier_Über_Base_Module_ext\Order_of_Battle--Italian_Army_1940-42.vmdx Bad Data in Module: Blue Finnish Army OOB 191944-45[HTML Chart]: Chart not found OOB FinnishBlue 1944-45 Catalog.html Bad Data in Module: Blue Special Units and Secret[HTML Chart]: Chart not found OOB Blue Specials catalog.html
I am using  Panzer Grenadier - Über version 3.0 and I have deleted the extensions and reloaded them.  Am I doing something wrong or am I supposed to delete something else?

Huh

RE: errors in modules
Have you downloaded the new extensions? When Uber 3.0 was released I had to update the extensions to work with it.
Also make sure you are using Vassal 3.5.x.

I went back and deleted the extensions I have and reloaded the new ones. I am running Uber 3.0 and Vassal 3.5.5.

When I tried to delete them I got an error message saying I couldn't delete them because they were open in OpenJDK Platform binary.  I searched and this is in Vassal and it is a JAVA I have two copies of it JAVA and JAVAW

RE: errors in modules
Vassal 3.3x and above run their own versions of Java. I think it is a cut-down version of JRE 11, as opposed to the standard install being version 8. My antivirus software doesn't seem to like JRE11 much and has killed the executable at least twice.

Mostly guessing now, but here is what I would likely do:
  1. Open my task manager and stop any Java processes.
  2. Delete and any extensions downloaded before March 21st of this year.
  3. Verify that Vassal 3.5.x runs with another module.
    1. If not, reinstall Vassal.
    2. Create an exception for javaw.exe when the AV software complains.
  4. Download a couple of extensions or the game package for what I want to play.
The errors would likely be gone at that point.
Keep a copy of Uber 2.6 around until you finish all your saved games from that version. v2.6 games do not run well on v3.0.

RE: errors in modules
I just did a fresh vassal/uber install on my laptop and am prepping for the original Arctic Front.

I too am getting:

Bad Data in Module: Blue Finnish Army OOB 191944-45[HTML Chart]: Chart not found OOB FinnishBlue 1944-45 Catalog.html

That one I understand. Likely an artifact from switching Allied/Axis to Blue/Red.

Yep, makes sense.

Thanks again for all the hard work on these.
