Need to reset in Academy

Hi guys,

I clicked on the Vassal Academy and selected the self-learn option.  I know how to play PG, but I am not Vassal savvy, so I need to reset my selection and have a mentor assigned. Again, it is just to teach me the machinations of Vassal, not the rules.

OK, I've booted you back out. Enroll in your new pathway of choice.

You could probably connect with most of the Vassal players to get a run through of the mechanics. Also keep in mind, that just because you might choose a self-study or self-play option, you do not necessarily need to play solo for any of the required games. I know a couple guys in Finland who played the self-study course together.

Great thank you when I do sign up for the mentor program what is the time commitment ? Also should I have a Skype account set up first ? I’m looking forward to this just want to make sure I’m ready .

With a mentor it is usually 6 sessions of 2-3 hours.

 If you don't already have one, wait and see who your mentor is and what platform(s) they're using. They may have something like Zoom or GoToMeeting where they can invite you without needing you to create an account.
